Markela Kontaratou is a visual artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Athens, Greece and London, UK. She studied in Athens School of Fine Arts (2013 - 2018) and Willem De Kooning Academy, Rotterdam. In 2017 she received the Stavros Niarchos Foundation scholarship to study English Literature in Deree College, Athens. In 2019 she was admitted in London Film School for an MA in Filmmaking.
